Job Description
Navmar Applied Sciences Corp is experiencing substantial growth in our Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) business and we are seeking qualified technicians to work on construction of UAV's. Duties include: performing bonding, manufacture and mechanical assembly of composite structures; bond, manufacture and assemble composite structures using various cloth materials and epoxies; troubleshooting, testing and quality assurance.
Job Requirements
Construct Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) components.
Meet technical work standards by following production, productivity, quality and customer service standards.
Resolve operational problems and identify work process improvements.
Read engineering drawings, specifications and work schematics. Manufacture and assemble to mechanical drawings.
Use calipers, micrometers and standard shop measuring tools. Familiarity with hand tools and mechanical assembly.
Work under direct supervision and follow written instructions and techniques.
Document actions through use of standardized forms, reports, logs, and records.
Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications.
Accomplish organizational mission by completing related results as needed.
Maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures.

Special Requirements
Experience operating wood and metal working machinery.
Experience working with fiberglass composites or a background in auto body repair, painting or cabinet making.
Ability to work with and around various paints, solvents and chemicals; wear a respirator and other protective equipment; stand, bend or reach for long periods of time.
Physical effort equal to frequent lifting or moving of moderately heavy materials up to 70 pounds.
2+ yrs. experience in aviation manufacturing a plus.

We are currently seeking an Electro-Mechanical Engineer to work with the production of our Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV).
As a member of the engineering staff, the electro-mechanical engineer is responsible for implementing product design changes, troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems, machine tool/CNC programming, mould production, and subsystems integrations. The electro-mechanical engineer is also responsible for specification reviews, development of reports, production and quality reviews, and other documentation packages. The electro-mechanical engineer will use computer-assisted engineering, design software and equipment to perform assignments and apply principles and techniques of electrical engineering to accomplish goals.

Constructs Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV's) integrating components, testing, troubleshooting.
Assesses aircraft system results by performing system function tests.
Locates aircraft system failures and troubleshooting systems including fuel, hydraulic, flight controls, rigging, engine control, pneumatics, landing gear using appropriate equipment.
Corrects aircraft system failures by researching resolutions; removing, repairing, and replacing components.
Verifies system results by conducting function tests.
Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures.
Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.

Special Requirements

Job Requirements
2-year RC (Radio Control) flying experience, preferably Giant Scale.
Have piloted an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle by means of Radio Control (RC).
Have operational experience of full vehicle flight controls (elevators, ailerons, rudder etc.) from takeoff to landing.
Must be a US citizen.
Interested in full-time permanent or full-time temporary employment.
